Flamingos Golf Club

Built in 1978 by Percy J. Clifford, FLAMINGOS is the first golf course in the Vallarta area. Surrounded by a lush tropical vegetation and over 1,800 palm trees, the unique site combines gently sloping fairways with natural lagoons, marshes and estuaries where over 100 bird species as well as crocodiles, turtles, hares, racoons, armadillos and even several elusive deer thrive. From Puerto Vallarta to Bucerias : Take Highway 200 to Tepic, this will take you from Jalisco to Nayarit across the bridge, under then over-pass to "Jarretaderas", under the over-pass to "Nuevo Vallarta", through a stop light for Nuevo Vallarta,

through a stop light at Mezcales. After MEZCALES the highway will make a right turn and will continue up hill. THE EXIT FOR FLAMINGOS GOLF CLUB WILL BE ON THE LEFT LANE at the top of the hill, BEFORE THE BIG SIGN ON THE HIGHWAY that says TEPIC COMPSTELA and FLAMINGOS COUNTRY CLUB. From Bucerias to Puerto Vallarta: Take Highway 200 going towards Puerto Vallarta, you will go UNDER the over pass to FLAMINGOS COUNTRY CLUB and at the top of the hill there will be an exit, THIS IS THE EXIT for FLAMINGOS GOLF CLUB.
